2020 Job Fair by Taiwanese Corporate in Vietnam



In response to the Ministry of Education's New Southbound Talent Development Program, the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam plans to hold the “2020 Job Fair of Taiwanese Corporate in Vietnam” on May 16, 2020 (Saturday) at the Taipei Station’s Multifunctional Performance Area to set up a platform for talent matching between Taiwanese corporate in Vietnam, Vietnamese students in Taiwan, and local students. The purpose is to provide high-quality talents for the southward distribution of the industry, strengthen talent cultivation and reinforce cooperation between the industry sectors.

The Job Fair is sponsored by the Taipei Office of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam and hosted by the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology. It will be co-organized by Vietnamese Student Association in Taiwan (VSATW), Minghsing University of Science and Technology and Dai Viet International Trading Service Co., Ltd. About 1,000 jobs will be released during the Job Fair from over 60 Taiwanese companies in Vietnam, among them are quite many listed companies in the electronic/electrical, textile/shoes, chemistry, sanitary ware, bicycle, mechanical equipment, furniture, metal processing, IT, finance and architecture sectors. The jobs most in-demand include senior business managers, product R&D engineers, technical engineers as well as reserve cadres. For example, TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. will hire 5 persons in electronic/electrical engineering, mechanical manufacturing, and maintenance, DigiWin Software Co., Ltd. is looking for about 20 employees in control engineering, computer science/information engineering and business management; Caesar Sanitary Ware will recruit 10 persons in chemistry, industrial design, control engineering, management, and environmental safety and health; Gold Well International Company have 5 openings for industrial designer, senior manager, electronics/electrical engineer and mechanical engineer, and DDK Group 10 positions in art design and industrial design. In addition, Chinli Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd., supplier of ADIDAS and NIKE, will seek for 7 persons in industrial design and information engineering.

The opening ceremony will be held in the morning of the same day, and opening performances and lottery activities in Vietnamese style will be arranged. Over 1,000 fresh graduates are invited, including Vietnamese students in Taiwan, international students, and native students from various technical colleges and universities in Taiwan. Organizers of the Job Fair will subsidize students’ transportation costs to the event venue. On-site interviews will be held and students are welcome to register to the Job Fair.
